Start with where you will use it
A desk or nightstand setup has different needs from a whole-room setup. Consider how much space you have, where the USB connection will be and whether you want a decorative light after dark. Mistglow is a personal humidifier for a desk or nightstand; we do not publish a tested room-coverage rating.
If you need to control humidity throughout a room, compare products with a stated room-coverage rating and the features required for that space. A small tank by itself does not tell you how effectively a device will humidify a room.
Check the USB power requirements
USB describes the power connection; it does not automatically mean a product is rechargeable or cordless. Check the instructions for the required input and use a compatible power source.
The Mistglow mini humidifier is listed for 5 V USB power. A USB cable is included, but a USB wall adapter is not. Plan your setup around a compatible USB connection and follow the supplied instruction manual.
Compare tank size and refill expectations
The Mistglow tank holds 200 ml (about 6.8 fl oz). The supplier rates it for up to about five hours per fill. That is an upper estimate, not a promise for every setup. If a particular run time matters to you, check how the supplier measured it and assess the device in your own setup.
For everyday use, think about whether you want a small refillable device beside you or a larger tank for longer sessions. Choose by your routine rather than tank size alone.
Decide what you want from the light
Mistglow combines cool mist with a projection night light. The projected glow is intended as decorative evening lighting. If you need illumination for reading or detailed desk work, assess that separately; we do not publish a measured brightness rating.
When comparing models, look for a demonstration of the actual mist and light in ordinary room conditions. Product styling images can help you choose a color, but they do not measure brightness, noise or room coverage.
